This or That Book Tag

Hello and welcome to another book tag! Once again, I wasn’t tagged (haha), but this one seemed like fun, so here I am doing it! Some questions where you have pick between two things, seems almost mindless, but I find it interesting to see everybody’s answers! I’m going to add mine to the mix.

Reading on the bed or the couch?

It honestly depends! I enjoy reading on my bed and the couch. Where I am depends on where everybody else in my family is hanging out.

Male main character or female main character?

Female 100%. I’m not against reading a male MC, as a story can be amazing with them, but I am definitely partial to female MCs. When I was younger, I didn’t get past the first page of a book because it was from a male POV, haha.

Sweet snakes or salty snakes when reading?

I don’t eat much when I’m reading, only when the book is really, really good. And there really is not preference for me since I love sweet things and salty things.

Trilogies or Quartets?

I can the the benefits and drawbacks to both. But for me, quartets. One, its a really fun word, and two there aren’t a lot of them out there. It’s an interesting length.

First person point of view or third person point of view?

Depends on the story. I enjoy both, but I think I lean towards first.

Reading at night or in the morning?

At night for sure. My brain takes awhile to wake up and just ins’t ready to dive into a book first thing.

Libraries or bookstores?

Bookstores. I haven’t been around libraries too much and never had one that I felt completely comfortable in when I was younger.

Books that make you laugh or cry?

I appreciate books that can make me cry, it means they are something special, but I’m going to have to go with laugh. I love something that’s funny and can make me smile.

Black book covers or white book covers?

Black. There are more covers that I love that are black than there are ones that are white. It just gives the book an air of darkness and mystery, I guess.

Character driver or plot driven?

I personally think it has to be a solid combination of both. Though, I get irritated easily at characters who are written weakly, but can power through a weak plot if the characters are solid.

This was a fun tag to do, if different from what I usually do. It’s weird not putting pictures throughout my post! But I hope you still enjoyed!

Thank you for reading!
