Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018!
I’ve decided to start doing Top Ten Tuesdays! I’ve seen a lot people do these and they always look really fun! And this week’s prompt is awesome. I love screaming about underrated books.
The Art Of French Kissing by Brianna R. Shrum
Oh, what a surprise! I take every chance I get to talk about this book. It isn’t for some people, but I personally loved it!
Devils Unto Dust by Emma Berquist
I didn’t adore this one, but I did thoroughly enjoy it! It’s a western, desert, zombie, disease book and all those things mesh really well together. It also has great characters and great sibling relationships.
You’ll Miss Me When I’m Gone by Rachel Lynn Solomon
I love this book so much. I love Solomon’s writing so much too. This book is heartbreaking, real, and just all around amazing.
Ignite The Stars by Maura Milan
I LOVE THIS BOOK SO MUCH! I’m so surprised that it doesn’t have more ratings on GoodReads! It has enemies-to-loves, female friendships, a space solider academy, and chocolate!
Not Even Bones by Rebecca Schaeffer
This is dark, bloody, and has amazing morally gray characters. It also has monsters and a black market and so much more!
The Spy With The Red Balloon by Katherine Locke
Queer teens punching Nazis. It’s true, there is a scene in this book where a queer teen punches a Nazi. It also has science and magic.
Dare Mighty Things by Heather Kaczynski
I didn’t adore this one, but I did really like it! It’s about teens competing for the chance to go into space, which is awesome.
Alright the next few books have under 2,000 ratings because they’re not out yet, but I’m kinda stumped (and I love them a lot), so I’m going to list them!
The Devouring Gray by Christine Lynn Herman
Descendant Of The Crane by Joan He
Wilder Girls by Rory Power
I really enjoyed doing this! I see why this is so popular now haha. I know GoodReads isn’t the best judge for how a book is doing, but a lot of my favorites had over 2,000 ratings! And some of them didn’t, but I highly recommend all of these!
Thank you for reading!
I want to read The Art of French Kissing, it seems so interesting!!!
Great list ❤️

I keep seeing Ignite the Stars everywhere and I really wanna read it! I’m surprised it doesn’t have more ratings on Goodreads — not only is the cover gorgeous, but I swear I’ve seen it talked about a ton? Maybe I’m just hallucinating. Anyways, one book I hadn’t heard anything about is Dare Mighty Things… but the premise sounds super intriguing! I’ll have to check it out. Thanks for the recommendation 😀

Not Even Bones will added to my TBR. Ignite the Stars kind of sounds like Ender’s Game. I’ll check it out as well. Nice post 🙂
