The Festive Christmas Book Tag

Christmas is almost upon us, so that means it’s time for another tag! This title kinda makes me want to run around and throw candy canes in the air and I figured that was a good sign so I’m going to do it. And, uh, sorry if I hit you with a candy cane haha. This tag was created by GirlReading on Youtube!

A fictional family you would like to spend Christmas dinner with?

The Weasleys, definitely. I know that’s kinda a cliche answer, but they’re so happy and warm and welcoming that I think I’d actually have a good time, even with so many people! I’m an intense introvert, so finding people that isn’t draining to be around is a big deal to me haha.

A bookish item you would like to receive as a gift?

I’m actually not toooooo big on bookish items. I do love them, but I just don’t want to have too many and feel cluttered by them. That being said, I love enamel pins and will always be happy with a bookish one.

A fictional character you think would make a perfect Christmas elf?

I love how when I look at these questions, every single character I’ve ever met suddenly disappears. Hmmm, I think Grey, from A Curse So Dark And Lonely, would like making gifts for everybody that they would love. He’s so nice and he’d probably get joy from their joy.

Bah Humbug. A book or fictional character you’ve been disappointed in and should be put on the naughty list?

For me, this is Surviving Adam Meade. It sounded like a great, cheesy, hate-to-love story, but it just fell really flat to me. It went way to fast and I had a few problems with the writing.

Red, Gold and Green. A book cover that has a wonderfully Christmasy feel to it.

I haven’t read a lot of Christmasy books. They just aren’t my favorite. And because of that, I don’t have a Christmasey cover that I love. Maybe I’ll change that!

A book or series you love so much, you want everyone to find under their Christmas tree this year so they can read it and love it too?

I’m doing a list since I have a lot. Descendant Of The Crane, The Devouring Gray, Wicked Saints, Heart Of Iron, Children Of Blood And Bone, A Curse So Dark And Lonely, Our Year Of Maybe, To Best The Boys, Uprooted, Girls Of Paper And Fire, Strange The Dreamer. Wooo, I think I’ll stop there, since it’s getting pretty long haha.
