Merry Christmas! Since Thanksgiving just passed, it is basically Christmas now. So I would expect a lot of Christmasy posts from for the next monthish. Anyway, the holidays have never been easy for me and with the Thanksgiving battle behind me, I’ve decided to create my own holiday tag with a twist. I know the holidays are hard for a lot of people and this tag is centered around that idea. If you want to complain and be a little bit bitter, HERE’S THE TAG FOR YOU! This is my original tag, but I’m not sure if somebody else has done something like it!
A book you would rather be reading instead of doing your holiday plans:
This book sounds like its going to stick it to gender roles and girls are going to shove all their strength in obnoxious boys faces. Yes please. I want to be reading that.
A super queer book that you love:
Here’s three instead! I loved all of these so much and I loved the queer rep in them!
A romance book that would make your grandmother clutch her pearls:
I haven’t read many romance novels since I’m actually pretty picky about them. But I did read and love The Kiss Quotient! It’s such a healthy relationship with a good story. It’s sad that those are on the rarer side, but this one is good! I promise!
A book you’d love to shove into everybody’s hands:
Here’s a list! Heart of Iron, Ignite the Stars, Children of Blood and Bone, Uprooted, Warcross, Starry Eyes, Geekerella, Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda, Ace of Shades, Song of the Current, Sky in the Deep, The Art of French Kissing, and so many more haha.
A picture that makes you happy, because you deserve it:
Honestly any cat pictures make me happy.

Alright, I hoped you enjoyed this tag! It’s a little all over the place, but that’s how the holidays feel for me haha. All my best wishes to you if holidays are hard for you. I hope things go as smoothly as they can!
Thank you for reading!
Super cute tag! I haven’t read any of these yet, but really enjoyed the Girl with the Red Balloon! I need to get to the Spy with the Red Balloon some time! ❤

Ah yes, I loved Spy! I personally enjoyed it better than Girl, but they’re both awesome.
