Welcome to the Sunshine Book Tag! I’ve wanted to create another tag for awhile, but I just couldn’t seem to nail down an idea. But, I’ve seen the Sunshine Blogger Award going around on the blogs that I follow and I thought it would be fun to create something similar. This is my original tag, but I’m not sure if something like this has been done by someone else. If so, you are awesome!
I’ve noticed that a lot of tags have rules in the beginning, but I just like the questions, tag people if you would like (or tag everyone haha), and please credit me if you decide to use this tag! Anyway, onto the actual questions!
What is a book that makes you feel all warm and light inside?
I recently finished this book and I honestly can’t think about it without squealing. It’s so important, yet so. dang. cute. It really is just like having the sun sitting in your stomach.
What is a book where the setting really shines through?
I can’t stop raving about the Wild in Warrior of the Wild. The setting shines through and is so well done. I adore settings like this, but it’s hard for me to find ones that I like. I can’t say tooo much due to spoilers, but just know that it’s freaking awesome.
Who is a character that you consider is a ball of sunshine?
All little sister characters touch that warm part of my heart. It probably has something to due with the fact that I love my little sister so much. I’ve found that I really, really enjoy pure younger siblings!
What is your favorite book that features a hot setting (i.e. a desert or tropical forest):
I’m actually not a huge fan of deserts. I despise the heat, but I thought that the fantasy element to most book deserts would be enough for me, but I guess not haha. Though, I did enjoy the desert in Devils Unto Dust. The characters and the plot helped distract me from all the sand and the heat. I also really enjoyed the tropical forest setting in Not Even Bones!
What is your favorite bright cover?
I when I look at both of these covers, my brain explodes just a little bit. I never thought I would like BRIGHT covers like this, but here we are.
The Questions:
What book makes you feel all warm and light inside?
What is a book where the setting really shines through?
Who is a character that you consider a ball of sunshine?
What is your favorite book that features a hot setting (i.e. desert, tropical desert)?
What is your favorite bright cover?
I hoped you liked this tag as much as I did. I’m feeling like spreading some sunshine, so hopefully this brings just a tiny ray of light to you.
Thank you for reading!
