Books I’ll (Probably) Never Read Tag!

I love talking about books I have read and loved. And about books I can’t wait to read. But, I also think it’s fun to talk about books I don’t like or hyped books I just don’t plan on reading. Littlespider9 on Youtube is the original creator of this tag!

A really hyped book you’re not interested in reading?

Ahh, I’m not sure! There’s always a hyped book here and there that I don’t think I’m going to read and then my tastes/mood changes and I really want to read it!

A series you won’t start/won’t be finishing?

I won’t be finishing the Carve The Mark duology. I really saw myself in the chronic pain rep in the first book, but I realize there are problematic aspects to it. That was also the only thing I really liked about the book.

A classic that you’re just not interested in?

Um, so many. Instead of listing them, I’ll link this blog post of mine where I talk about my feelings about classics!

Any genres you never read?

What counts as reading? Cause I’ve probably at least glanced at title for most genres haha. But I’m not super interested in reading nonfiction or things of the sort! It’s just not for me.

A book on your shelves you’ll probably never actually read?

Sadie. I don’t want to count any book out since I always seem to want to read random books at random times, but I don’t know if I’ll get to this one. It’s so heavy and so emotional. I tried the physical copy and the audiobook, but I couldn’t quite get through either of them. It’s not a bad book! It’s just a bit much for me.

I always say how much I love unpopular opinions and talking about them, but I actually have a tough time coming up with them haha.

Thank you for reading!

  1. I feel the same about Sadie! As much as everyone seems to praise the book (and the audiobook), I’m not sure how much I would enjoy it. It does seem like a lot. Great post!!
