I was mildly looking forward to this one. It sounded interesting enough, but it wasn’t really registering on my radar. But, I had the opportunity to make a trade for a manuscript and I took it.

By agreeing to deliver it in exchange for his release, Caro finds herself caught in a web of politics and lies, with dangerous pirates after the cargo—an arrogant courier with a secret—and without the river god to help her. With so much at stake, Caro must choose between the life she always wanted and the one she never could have imagined for herself.

I was surprised by this one. I mostly picked it up due to Mith, my Twitter friend (Who is wonderful by the way. She is @guyliners on Twitter and she blogs which I’ll link here.) recommendation. And I’m very glad I did.
