Mid-Year Freak Out Tag

*laughs nervously* I can’t believe I’m doing this tag again. I can’t believe it’s the appropriate time to do this tag again. That means it’s pretty far into the year and I’ve been blogging seriously for over a year. It’s so weird to think about. Nevertheless, I really enjoy this tag, so I will be doing it again!

Best book you’ve read so far in 2019

Ooooh, I’m don’t know! I’ve been able to read so many amazing books. Some awesome ones are The Tenth Girl, I Wish You All The Best, and The Storm Crow.

Best sequel you’ve read so far in 2019

I feel like I’m always surprised that I don’t read a ton of sequels. I don’t know why that is! I read a lot of first books that I adore. But the one that I recently finished and really loved was Girls Of Storm And Shadow! It was a great sequel and really expanded upon everything from the first book.

New release you haven’t read yet but want to

We Hunt The Flame. I can’t believe I keep getting distracted by other books. I’ve been looking forward to this one for awhile and I can’t wait to read it. I’m also so happy it’s getting the love that it deserves!

Most anticipated release for the second half of the year

Another one with so many options. I’m really looking forward to The Light At The Bottom Of The World and Full Disclosure.

Biggest disappointment

I’m really not sure! I don’t think I dwell on disappointments too much and just move on to the next book I want to read. And then I forget a lot about it so I can’t answer questions like these!

Biggest surprise

I want to say The Tenth Girl, but I’ve already used that one. So, I’m going to say The Merciful Crow. It took me a little bit to get into, and I found the world a little confusing, but I ended up really, really loving it!

Favorite new author

Julie C. Dao. I’ve known her books and she’s a really fantastic person, but I finally read one of her books. And it was so, so amazing. I can’t wait to give her other books a try!

Favorite post you have done this year

I’m really happy I went through with my Endgame And Fatphobia post. I was really nervous to write and to post it, but I’m glad I did.

And that’s the end of the freak out tag! I omitted a few questions, because I didn’t want all of them to say I don’t know haha. I still found it really fun!

Thank you for reading!
