The Netgalley Book Tag

Since I’ve been using Netgalley more, I thought it would be fun to do this tag! I am a smaller blogger, and don’t always have luck with requesting physical copies, so I’m always on the lookout for books being added to Netgalley! This tag was orignally created by Kourtni @ KourtniReads, so all credit to her!

Auto-Approved: Who’s one author whose books you automatically want to read, regardless of what they’re about?

Hmmm, I think I’ll try a book if it has certain aspects no matter what, but I’m not sure about authors. If I loved a previous book of theirs, I will want to try their next book regardless. Then again, sometimes I’m just not interested in certain books. So, kind of all authors sometimes?

Request: What makes you want to request a book that you see on NetGalley?

I don’t usually go to Netgalley without a book in mind that I want to request. This keeps my requesting under control a little bit haha.

Feedback Ratio: Do you review every book you read? If not, how do you decide what books to review?

I try to review every book I read! I really enjoy writing and posting reviews, so I’m more inclined to write them. Plus, I’m a slower reader and my reviews are more spaced out. If I didn’t review most of the books I read, they’d be even few and farther between.

Badges: If you could create your own badge to display on your blog, what would it be for?

Probably a “home to many cats” one haha. I have two series dedicated to my cats and they make frequent appearances elsewhere.

Wish for It: What’s one book that you are absolutely dying to read?

Right now, A Heart So Fierce And Broken! It’s the sequel to A Curse So Dark And Lonely. The first book was a Beauty And The Beast retelling and it was absouetly amazing. This book sounds like it’s going to expand upon the world and highight new characters!

NetGalley Challenge: What was the last book that you received as an ARC that you reviewed?

I can usually answer this question by looking at my posting schedule, but it’s really wonky right now. I think the last ARC I reviewed, as I’m writing this post, was Get A Life, Chloe Brown.

As I did this tag, I realized that it seems like I don’t overrequest books on Netgalley and that could not be further from the truth haha. I’m right there with the rest of the overrequesting crowd, wondering why I requested so many books at the same time. Anyway, this was a really fun tag to do and I enjoyed answering the questions!

Thank you for reading!
