Rocky’s Thoughts: Hello I amz Rocky and I amz cat. I am a big fan of poisons. I poison people with my fluff and charm everyday. They all fall in love with me. So, I was really looking forward to reading a book about main character who makes poisons for a living. I am always looking for more tips. I will only use my poisons for good, do not worry. This book is full of alchemy. It was so interesting how it drove the plot forward and was such a big part of the story. I really enjoyed reading about it and I loved how confident Mirabelle was when handling things related to it. While I do not have any plans to murder a king, it was certainly something to read about it. Usually, main characters are totally on board for plans like these, but I liked how this was a shock to Mirabelle! It was a different type of plot and I liked how it progressed. It allowed for Josse and Mira to meet, which was super awesome. I like both of them a lot. This book would have been better if it had cats, but I am totally willing to be added in if a movie is ever made. I have to make my Hollywood debut somewhere.
