Synopsis:

This book sounds dark, but not in the usual way. It sounds like it’s going to have dark themes and dark things are going to happen, but I don’t think it’s going to be dark in the sense that there’s going to be lots of gore, which I’m looking forward too! I could be wrong and that’s fine with me haha. I have been really interested in stories with sister relationships recently and this book sounds like it’s going to be an amazing one. One sister who wants the honor of being buried with the ruler, in turn being buried alive, and one sister sees it as a death sentence. Yes, that sounds complicated and I cannot wait to see how it plays out. Also, I love plots where the palace holds secrets they want to keep buried (haha, pun not intended). Until recently, I thought this was a standalone, but it’s actually a duology! So it looks like there will be more secrets than meets the eye. I can’t wait to read it!
