Top Ten Tuesday: Rainy Day Reads

img_4039

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish that now has a new home at That Artsy Reader Girl.

Another Top Ten Tuesday! I’m not quite sure what this prompt means. Is it books that I want to read on a rainy day? Books I’m saving to read on a rainy day? Books that have rainy days in them? So, I’m going to do a bit of a combination! I’m going to include books that are good to read on rainy days and books that have water on the cover!

Don’t Date Rosa Santos by Nina Moreno

This book has water on the cover and is a great book to read on a rainy day! It’s full of love and family and finding yourself.

Geekerella by Ashley Poston

This book is adorable. It’d be great to read on a rainy day and just soak up all the amazingness that is Darien and Elle.

Serious Moonlight by Jenn Bennett

This is an amazing book to read on a rainy day! It’s a mystery, with an adorable romance. Plus, it has so much awesome stuff packed into it too!

Scavenge The Stars by Tara Sim

So, this one doesn’t have any water on the cover, but I’m including cause it kind of has an oceany feel? I feel like the ocean is right behind her!

Kissing Ezra Holtz (And Other Things I Did For Science) by Brianna R. Shrum

This book has a lot of emitons. It’s about going through life and figruing things out and how messy that can be. It’s really good.

The Girl The Sea Gave Back by Adrienne Young

The ocean is very prominently displayed here haha.

You’ll Miss Me When I’m Gone by Rachel Lynn Solomon

This is another one where water is on the cover and it’s a great rainy day read! There will definitely be more puddles from your tears after you finish it.

The Waking Forest by Alyssa Wees

There’s a stream here and it’s a creepy woods book. It seems like it’s fitting to read on a rainy day.

The Devouring Gray by Christine Lynn Herman

This is another creepy woods book and I love it a lot.

Descendant Of The Crane by Joan He

There is always a good time to start this book!

Suddenly, every single contemporary book I’ve read has flown out of my head. So, this list ended up being mostly fantasy books with water on the cover haha. That’s alright, since there are a few contemporaries in there!]

Thank you for reading!
