What I Want To Read In April

I think I’ve just started to accept that time is moving a lot faster than I can track. Or I think I’m just in denial that it’s April. The latter is probably more likely haha. Nevertheless, I want to read some books this month!

Finale by Stephanie Garber

I’m a little nervous for this one. I wasn’t a huge fan of the ending of Legendary and I have no idea what Scarlett is doing, so it should be interesting to see how everything plays out. Though, I do love Garber’s writing and the pretty dress are amazing.

Here There Are Monsters by Amelinda Bérubé

This one doesn’t sound like something I would normally read, but I want to give it a shot. I do enjoy reading creepy books and this one sounds terrifying. It has complicated sister relationships and a forest full of supposed monsters too!

Song Of The Crimson Flower by Julie C. Dao

This one is also different that what I normally read, but I want to give it a shot. It sounds like a softer fantasy novel. It sounds like a really amazing story.

War Girls by Tochi Onyebuchi

This cover is so awesome! It’s a dystopian novel with climate change, nuclear disasters, space colonies, people with bionic limbs, and fighting for peace. I can’t wait to read it!

The Princess And The Fangirl by Ashley Poston

I’m a huge fan of Ashley Poston’s book. I adored Heart Of Iron and I loved Geekerella. This one is a companion to Geekerella! I’m really looking forward to getting a better look at different characters! Plus, this one is queer!

This month I really want to try and get through some of the ARCs that I have, but who knows if I’ll stick to that haha. There are also so many new releases I would love to read: You’d Be Mine, If I’m Being Honest, Sky Without Stars, and We Rule The Night!

Thank you for reading!
