Colsten Can’t Wait: Kingsbane by Claire Legrand

Welcome to Colsten Can’t Wait, which is my version of Waiting On Wednesday! Every week, my cat and I pick out an upcoming book we’re really looking forward to and highlight it! This week, we picked out Kingsbane.

Synopsis (SPOILERS FOR FURYBORN):

This is the sequel to Furyborn, which is loved, adored, and screamed over. Honestly, I have no idea where this book is going to go. I know it’s going to break my heart, but I’m not sure where this is going to go plot wise. I’m really hoping that we get to see more of the world, specifically the gate holding the angles back. If not in this book, then maybe the third? This world is so huge, so expensive, and so well done. I want to know more. I also can’t wait to see the characters again! They probably aren’t doing too well, considering how Furyborn ended and how this book seems like it’s going to go. BUT ELIANA AND RIELLE! I didn’t think I would love them as much as I did, or I would enjoy the huge difference in POVs, literally a 1,000 years apart, but it’s done well enough for me to really love it! This book is always really, really big, so a lot is probably going to happen. It should be interesting!
