Yay, another tag! I really wanted something on the easier and more fun side today and I think this tag is it. I’m, um, blanking on more of an intro, so I’m going to pretend that what I said was enough haha. This tag was created by Words and Stitches!
WHO? Who is an author you’d love to have a one on one with?
I’m actually not sure. I get really, really awkward around authors. More awkward than I am normally. I don’t ever really think about what I’d want to say to them, I’m sort of just happy to meet them. I’m lucky enough to have meet some awesome authors and I’m just happy to stand there and smile and say hi while they sign my book. I guess I’m just glad to be there that I forget that talking actually could be apart of the meeting haha.
WHAT? What genre or style do you most gravitate to?
Fantasy. I like big, expansive worlds that I can learn about and it’s so different than what’s going on in my own life. I do enjoy most genres, I just lean towards this one more.
WHERE? Where do you prefer to read?
It depends! I enjoy reading in my living room, my play room, my parents room, my room, my dad’s office. Whatever place is the most convenient and comfortable for my mood.
WHEN? What time of the day do you prefer to read?
It depends again. Most of the time, in the evening and at night. This is when I have most of my free time and want to pick up a book. Though, there are snippets throughout the day where I read, depending on my schedule and mood.
WHY? Why is your favourite book your favourite book?
Is this question asking me to name my favorite book or talk about the reasons I love my favorite book? Well, it’s hard for me to pick a singular favorite book since I love so many. But the ones that are my favortites are my favorites because they spoke to me in some way. I was either completely pulled in by the world, the writing, the characters, or any combination of those.
BONUS! How do you go about selecting what you’ll read next?
I’m a really big mood reader, so whatever book I feel like reading the most is what I’ll pick up next!
I feel like these questions are really simple, but can go really deep if you want? I feel like I went the long winded approach here haha.
Thank you for reading!
