What I Want To Read In January

Well, I’m not sure how it’s the new year already. Though, there are a lot of books I want to get to this year! A lot of amazing ones are coming out and there are some already released ones that I would like to get to! I’m a little bit of a big shrug when it comes to what I want to read this month. Though I do have a little bit of an idea!

Hot Dog Girl by Jennifer Dugan

Ahhh, I can’t wait to see what I think of this one. It’s really different from what I would normally read, but it sounds weird and I’m willing to give it a chance haha. Plus, I heard that it has a f/f romance and I’m really, really looking forward to that. It also looks like it’s going to be a story about finding yourself and being comfortable in your skin and I do enjoy those types of stories!

Skyward by Brandon Sanderson

I actually do not know about much about this one! But, I know this author writes a lot books that people love and I want to give one a try (and I don’t really know where to start with his other series haha)! And one of my friends loved (hi Stephanie!) this one. I think it’s sci-fi? And that’s about all I know.

The Birds, The Bees, And You And Me by Olivia Hinebaugh

I’ve been craving a fluffy contemporary lately and this one is coming out this month! I know its supposed to be really sex positive and I really enjoy those types of books. And MC is very ‘innocent’ when it comes to sex stuff, so it should be interesting it see how her story progresses!

Echo North by Joanna Ruth Meyer

This is another new release for this month! It’s a Beauty and the Beast retelling. I’ve read a lot of really good ones recently and this one is supposed to be really good to! I’ve heard that it’s a really unique retelling that feels completely it’s own.

The Bear And The Nightingale by

I’ve been wanting to read this one for awhile. I know it’s a Russian inspired story with monks? and demons I think! I’m pretty sure it’s an adult novel and I get Naomi Novik vibes from this one and I love her stories!

And then there’s a whole lot of new releases for this month that I’d love to get to like King Of Scars, Slayer, Undying, Death Prefers Blondes, Two Can Keep A Secret, and Just For Clicks! There are also a few already released books on my shelves that I might want to read, so who really knows what I’m going to read haha.
