Books With Cats In Them

I’ve been wanting to make this post for awhile now, but I didn’t think I had enough books to make it full. GUESS WHAT??? I think I’ve found enough! So, here are some books with good fur babies in them. They are very minor characters, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t make me exorbitantly happy when I see them.

That’s right folks. This book with magic, Paris, and hot air balloons also features a cat and I love him.

While I didn’t love this book, I certainly did love the two cats.

This one doesn’t feature regular cats, but it does have lionares so I’m counting it. They are basically like giant cats right? And you can actually pet and love on these guys! Fun fact: I find zoos so frustrating cause I can’t pet the big cats haha. I know they could kill me if they wanted to but… CATS.

So, I haven’t read this one yet (I can’t wait to though!), but there’s a cat on the cover. Geekerella had a dog on the cover and he was a very prevalent character. I’m assuming this cat is going to make an appearance and be awesome!

Oh yeah. This gift of a book has cats. One of them is only seen in passing, but the scene was adorable so I’m including it. And the other cat plays a bigish role too! I can’t say much more than that cause I don’t want to spoil anything!

Yay, this post is awesome. It is shorter than I would like it to be, so please let me know if I’ve missed any. Maybe I haven’t read them yet and I can experience the joy for the first time!

Thank you for reading!

  1. The Abhorsen series (first book is called The Abhorsen) by Garth Nix has a cat called Mogget, who is not always a cat but is most of the time. He’s very sassy and one of my favorite characters from the series.
