What I Want To Read In November

Whelp, I’m not quite sure how it’s November already. And look at me, making sure this post goes up on the first of the month! It’s wild all around haha. Once again, my reading schedule is really up to chance. There are a few books that I would love to get into that are sitting on my shelf and then there are some new releases I can’t wait to get to! It’ll be interesting to see where my mood takes me.

Caraval was a surprise last month. That book was such a good read and I’m eager to see what happens next. This book also has Tella as a narrator and I’ve been wanting to get inside her head since the beginning. I’m not sure if I will like her as much as Scarlett, but I never seem to know where this story is going to go!

Muse of Nightmares by Laini Taylor

I’m putting this one on here very tentatively. While I so want to see the conclusion of this duology and be back in this crazy beautiful world, I’m not sure if my heart can handle it! I do miss the setting so much and I want to be back in Muse, so that might over power any  trepidation I might have.

Once and Future by Amy Rose Capetta and Cori McCarthy

I was lucky enough to get a copy of this book and it’s calling my name. I’m not quite sure how I’m going to like it, but it sounds like a sci-fi prince Arthur? And that is freaking awesome. Plus, it supposed to be really, really queer!

I want to try putting at least one book on these lists that have been sitting on my shelf for a bit. I do want to read them… I just always get distracted. I’m hoping this will help bring these books to the forefront of my mind and I can pick them up! I have heard so much about this series and pretty much all of it is rave reviews. I am a little nervous about the music aspect, since I don’t usually mesh well with those books. But this one sounds like it has enough fantasy elements to keep me hooked!

The Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstien by Kiersten White

This one sounds really dark and really cool. I think I’m ready to get into this one this month. It also looks like it will pretty short so its good all around!

I usually have somewhat of an idea of where my moods will take me, but I’m really just guessing for now! And of course there are some other books I would love to get to such as, Where She Fell, An Assasian’s Guide to Love and Treason, Empress of all Seasons, Mammoth,  and This Splintered Silence. So I have a ton of options!

Thank you for reading!

  1. Ahh the struggles of being a mood reader haha! I can never decide on a set TBR honestly. I hope you get around to Muse though – it’s so good! 💜 have a great month of reading Chloe!
