Books That Would Be Better With A Cat

It’s been awhile since I did a cat centered post. I’ve had trouble coming up with a good idea that I feel like I could execute well, BUT HERE WE ARE!!! Today I’m exploring some books that I think a cat would make much better. I’m interested to see where this line of thinking will take me. We shall see!

Furyborn by Claire Legrand

Everybody in this book needs a good snuggle. I mean, I’d prefer if they snuggled each other, but a cat would be just as cute. Also, I think it would be freaking awesome it Rielle or Eliana had a cat companion? Or a big cat that fought along side of them? That’s the dream.

Serious Moonlight by Jenn Bennett

Every good mystery story needs a good cat. This is the only thing this book is lacking, but I would have LOVED to see a kitty just walk by or have one mentioned. I think it would add to the aesthetic haha.

The Cruel Prince by Holly Black

Oh my gosh a Fae cat? Can you imagine how cool that would and how much you could play with that idea? A cat with flowers for fur, a cat whose bite contains the elixir of life, a cat with little horns that contain secrets. Wow, I could totally run with this haha.

A Seafaring Book

Ahhh, I want a pirate cat! I don’t quite think a cat would fit into the story for at all for The Daughter of the Pirate King and I haven’t yet finished Seafire, so I don’t quite know which book to put! I just know that a pirate book would be 10x better with a cat.

This post was so much more fun that I thought it was going to be! It was cool to kind of rearrange the plots of the books to fit in a cat. And it was cool to see how a cat would act in the setting its in or how I would integrate a cat into the certain world!

Thank you for reading
