What I Want To Read In October

Ahhh, it’s October! It’s almost Halloween, fall is upon us, and the holidays are right around the corner. I honestly don’t know how it’s already October, but I do know that I want to read books this month. Woo, nice segway Chloe. This month’s reading is a little awkward cause I don’t quite know what books I’m going to come across. Nevertheless, I do have a few I would love to get to this month!

I’M GONNA DO IT. I’m hopefully gonna finally, finally see what this book is all about. Everybody has such amazing things to say about and I’m going to find out if I agree.

Since it is October, I’m throwing one scary book into the mix. If nothing else, I would love to read a bit of this on Halloween or close to it, just as my small way of celebrating.

An Assassin’s Guide to Love and Treason by Virginia Boecker

I’ve been excited for this book for awhile and it’s finally coming out! It sounds super awesome with just the right amount of mystery, Shakespeare, enemies – to – lovers, and dark plots. I can’t wait!

This one has been sitting on my shelf for a bit and I keep meaning to read it. What better time than Halloween. I guess I’m putting two scary books on this list!

I’m actually already a bit into this one and I’m hoping I will find the motivation to finish it. I adored Warcorss, but I haven’t quite been able to completely get into this one. I’m hoping that will change though!

I’m never 100% sure what I want to read each month, but I think this list is the most subject to change. And then of course so many books are coming out this month that I’d also love to pick up The Boneless Mercies, This is Kind of An Epic Love Story, and Where She Fell.

Thank you for reading!

  1. Great list! This just reminded me I had a note to myself to check out One of Us is Lying at the library today. Went to the library this morning. Just now realized I didn’t check it out. Ha! Anyway, I’ve heard good things and hope to read it this month too.
