The Currently Reading Tag

Another tag! I haven’t been seeing a lot of tags that I’ve felt like doing recently or any that have really been catching my attention. But this one sounded awesome and something I definitely wanted to give a try! This tag was originally created by Charly Reynhorse on Youtube.

How many books do you usually read at once?

One. I’m not one to really hop around. Although, sometimes I am reading a book for my English class, but I’m not sure if that counts. Yet, right now I have started Wildcard, Seafire, and The Light Between Worlds. I’m nott actively reading all of them at the same time, but I have started them all.

Do you ever switch bookmarks while you’re part way through a book?

I actually don’t use bookmarks! I’ve always tried, but they never seem to stick with me. I like to read in chapters, so it’s not too hard to find where I left off. Of course, I don’t always have the time to finish a chapter and have to stop in the middle.

Where do you keep the book you’re currently reading?

Mostly on a counter near me, but when I am doing schoolwork I keep it upstairs on a nightstand for safe keeping and so I can stay focused haha.

What time of day do you spend the most time reading?

I probably spend the most time reading at night. Sometimes I can get in a bit throughout the day, but at night I have mostly accomplished everything I need to do and I can just read.

How long do you typically read for in one go?

It depends on my mood, honestly. Usually around a chapter, usually around an hour, or if I’m feeling good, a bit longer than that.

Do you read hard covers with the dust jacket on or off?

I keep them on! I can admire their beauty whenever I want and it’s an emergency bookmark that I can’t lose.

Which position do you mainly use to read?

Sitting, laying, upside down, whatever my body feels like haha.

Do you take the book you’re currently reading with you everywhere you go?

I used to, but I don’t anymore. I never really take advantage of the few minutes in the car or when I’m just waiting somewhere, so it’s one less thing for me lug around.

How often do you update your progress in the book you’re currently reading on Goodreads?

I just post my reviews!
