Books I’m Excited For That Don’t Even Have Covers Yet

I can get excited for books early. Before cover reveals and no release date early. I see a lot of deal announcements and boosting cool books from people online that I see a lot of books that are set to come out in the coming years. And so many of them sound so amazing. But, information is released slowly and time passes at it does. I decided to showcase some books that I simply cannot wait for, but don’t even have covers yet! It’s hard to judge by a cover if it doesn’t even have one.

Soul of Start by Ashley Poston

Surprise! I’m super pumped for the sequel to one of my favorite books ever. Soul of Stars is the final book in the Heart of Iron duology, which is basically Anastasia in space. I talk about it all the time. I’m so ready to see the cover and have a pre-order link!

Blood Heir by Amélie Wen Zhao

This book sounds so good I really want to cry. It’s wintery and magic infused, which is awesome, but it’s also said to be a dark Anastasia retelling. HECK YES. That sounds right up my alley and I just want to read it right now.

Wicked Saints by Emily Duncan

This one sounds dark, a little weird, and full of magic. A lot of people have been raving about this one and I’m looking forward to seeing what it’s all about. It’s a Joan of Arc inspired story about a girl who can speak to the gods. Wow wow that sounds good.

The Devouring Gray by Christine Lynn Herman

So, this one has a UK cover and an ARC cover, but I’m putting it on this list because I’ve been looking forward to this one since the deal announcement. It’s a creepy woods story and the author is one of the sweetest people ever. I cannot wait to read this one!

Kingdom of Back by Marie Lu

Marie Lu? Oh yes, I’ll read it. This one is about Mozart and his sister. There’s magical imps and wanting to be remembered. Sounds like a recipe for disaster and I am ready to watch it play out.

I thought I was going to have a hard time finding books that fit my qualifications, but I actually had too easy of a time. There were so many that I wanted to put on this list, but I’m going to stop here and maybe make a part 2 in the future! And now that I’ve put this list together all the covers will be released tomorrow, you’re welcome.

Thank you for reading!
