Welcome to Colsten Can’t Wait! This is my version of Waiting on Wednesday, every week my cat and I highlight an upcoming book we’re super excited about! This week, we decided to pick We Hunt The Flame by Hafsah Faizal!

Synopsis: Zafira is the Hunter, disguising herself as a man when she braves the cursed forest of the Arz to feed her people. Nasir is the Prince of Death, assassinating those foolish enough to defy his autocratic father, the king. This one sounds like it’s going to be miles above epic. From autocratic kings and hidden compassion in princes. It really sounds like everything I love in a book. Zafira disguises herself as a man and dives into the creep woods (so awesome), Arz, so she can feed her people. She wants to find a lost artifact that can restore magic and the prince, Nasir is sent to find it first and kill her. But of course there is greater evil and evil elves (I’m so excited for that part oh my gosh). I’m so ready for this book.
