Titles That Take My Breath Away

I love a good title. I don’t think a bad one would necessarily hurt a book, but a good one really catches my attention and stays with me long after I finish. I decided to show off the titles that I adore and/or really tie into the story well and have a lot of significance!

The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon

This one is just so different than anything I’ve ever seen. You don’t see a lot of fruits in titles haha. Plus the fact that it’s said to be an epic fantasy it adds such a mystical, magical feel to it that made me want to know everything there is to know about this book and it’s story.

A Curse so Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer

30097276

This is a Beauty and the Beast retelling and I think this is the literal definition of the curse that is cast on the prince. When I really started to think about it, I saw how brilliant it was. And when you really get into it, it has a such a deeper meaning to this particular story. It just layers upon layers of awesome.

One of Us is Lying by Karen M. McManus

I haven’t read this one yet, so I can’t say for sure if it has huge significance in the book, but I’m assuming it does. It seems like this is the literal plot of the book, which I think it really cool!

Reign of the Fallen by Sarah Glenn Marsh

I haven’t read this one either, but this title also seems really implemented into the story. It’s about rulers being brought back from the dead so they can continue ruling. It’s the reign of the fallen!

Uprooted by Naomi Novik

Uprooted is the creepy woods book to end most creepy woods book. And considering how the plot progress and the development the woods goes through, Uprooted is the perfect title.

Those were some titles that take my breath away! I think all of these really add something to the story, or will once I get the chance to read them!

Thank you for reading!
