My Favorite Books… As Of Now

I’ve been feeling rough the past couple of days, so I decided to make a post dedicated to books that I consider my favorites as of right now! I highly, highly recommend every single one on this list!

Heart of Iron by Ashley Poston

I’m pretty sure that it’s well known how much I love this book. It’s Anastasia in space with queer characters, best friends to lovers, heartbreak, AIs, royalty. I loved this book with everything in me and I cannot wait for the sequel to come out!

Ace of Shades by Amanda Foody

Oh, yeah, the City of Sin. I think I would hate casinos and Las Vegas and gambling, but I certainly loved reading about it in this one. The worldbuilding was spectacular and the magic system was so subtle and nothing like I’ve ever seen before! The author is also one of the best people ever, which makes me love this book even more! Another one that I can’t wait to read the sequel for!

Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi

This one was epic, explosive, and all around amazing. A girl is fighting to bring magic back to her people so they can escape the cruel rule of their king. It was so good. The plot was amazing and had incredible characters to back it up.

Ignite the Stars by Maura Milan

Ahh, fierce female characters, strong female friendship, enemies to lovers, an Academy where space soldiers are trained, and chocolate! This books was so fun to read and so good. It’s a sci-fi that stands out against all the other books in it’s genre.

A Curse so Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer

This is a Beauty and the Beast retelling, but it takes that tale and runs with it. It’s such a unique take. The characters are incredible and I loved them with my entire heart. The world was everything I wanted it to be and more. I loved how it was a retelling of a classic tale, but throughout the book it seemed to distance itself from it and become it’s own thing.

Wow, I have so many more books that I would consider my favorites, but these are the ones that I jump to whenever somebody asks me for recommendations or my favorites list. Please read them, they will not disappoint!
