Graphic Novel Recommendations

I’m a huge fan of graphic novels. They are usually short, easy, fun, and fullfilling to read. It’s so different from reading full length novels, that I like the difference of seeing everything laid on in front of me. So, I decide to put together a list of my favorite graphic novels. I would honestly recommend these to anybody of pretty much any age. Some of them do get pretty creepy, so younger audiences might not enjoy them too much. Nevetheless, I still find them all to be really solid.

Amulet by Kazu Kibuishi

I adore this series with my entire heart. I’ve been following it almost since the beginning when the first book came out in 2008. The artwork is STUNNING and the story is just as good. I’ve loved watching the character and plot progress over the years and I am so looking forward to seeing how everything wraps up!

Smile by  Raina Telgemeier

Oh, how I loved this when I was younger. I reread it so many times and I now read any anything that Raina Telgemeier writes, simply because of my love of this book. It really helped my when I was younger since my teeth were also really wonky.

Through the Woods by Emily Carroll

This is one of the creepier ones, a collection of five stories about woods. This one freaked me out really good when I read it, but I kept rereading my favorites and I still remember them really well after a good long while!

Hereville: How Mirka Got Her Sword by Barry Deutsch and Jake Richmond

3516953

This one was unlike anything I’d ever read before! A girl who wants her own sword and is doesn’t like the life she is living. But to get her sword she has to do something she hates. I have not read the sequels yet, since I didn’t know they existed, but I’m sure they are just as good!

Bone by Jeff Smith and Steve Hamaker

106134

This one is very dark and has a lot of gore. I still really enjoyed this one though and I think it was the first graphic novel series I eve read! I know the read the whole thing through twice! It has such a fascinating story to it and it was incredible to see it unfold.

Those are some graphic novels that I definitely recommend picking up! They are all older titles, since I haven’t really been reading graphic novels recently, just due to everything I want to get to read. But I still find them all amazing!

Thank you for reading!

I love graphic novels, nbut I mainly read the most popular ones, since I hear the most about them. And then it is easier to decide if I will like them 🙂
