Yay, another book tag! I wasn’t tagged by anyone, but I was inspired to do it by Melanie, who is incredibly sweet and amazing, from meltotheany.com! (And her Twitter is here)
And I have recently been really into the Sims. It’s very addictive and I actually find it kind of soothing. So when I saw that there was a book tag about the Sims I definitely knew it was something I wanted to do. Without further ado!
The original Sims: the best author debut
I actually find myself reading a lot of debuts, but one I recently read and absolutely loved was Ignite the Stars by Maura Milan. It is a sci-fi, hate-to-love romance, academy, female friendship, totally awesome story. It comes out September 4, 2018 and I highly recommend it!
The grim reaper: the saddest character death
I’m just crying.
Sims getting stuck: a character that just got in the way
This is a hard one for me. I’ve never felt that a character was just there to get in the way. They all serve some sort of purpose, even if that purpose is just to be annoying.
Simlish: a book with amazing writing
I will most likely always picked Uprooted for this type of question Noami’s writing style is so magical and different from anything I’ve ever read. I find her writing so satisfying. It is just amazing.
Expansion packs: a series where the books kept on getting better
Oh, how I adore Vampire Academy. I am so happy read it when all the books were already out and they truly do just keep getting better as they go on.
Sims romance: the worst case of insta love
Oh yes, this was definitely not one of my favorites. The insta-love was kinda insane. It kinda felt like protagonists were in love before they even met each other or knew about each other.
Cheats: a book that was entirely unrealistic
I personally don’t think most books are unrealistic. It’s fiction, anything can happen really. But I just don’t think enough information was given about Death-Cast. It just seemed unrealistic to me and I honestly just had a lot of questions. Maybe that was the point, but I think this book just wasn’t for me.
Needs fulfillment: a character who made all the wrong decisions
DO NOT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON LUCE.
Error code 12: a series that started off great but went downhill from there
I thoroughly enjoyed the first book of this series, but then they got kind of weird and I feel like everything sort of just got lost.
The Sims vortex: a book/series that completely engrossed you
This book was SO. GOOD. And I don’t think I will ever get tired of hearing it or saying. It’s a high fantasy, high stakes, magic infused book that I love so much. I highly recommend it so you can experience the magic as well.
Who do you tag?
I tag anybody who wants to do this tag and/or loves playing the Sims! It was so much fun!
