I’m not sure who created this, but thank you to whoever did, it was really fun! It’s weird that I’m doing this, because I haven’t been tagged and I think I’ve had about one sip of coffee in all the years of my life, but irony. So here we go!
Black: Name a series that’s tough to get into but has hardcore fans.
This book just wasn’t for me. I know lots of people loved it, but I can’t even remember much from the second book.
Peppermint mocha: Name a book that gets more popular during the winter or a festive time of year.
I don’t really read seasonal books and when I do, it’s probably not seasonally. But I do remember enjoying this one and I do see it pop up about every year.
Hot chocolate: What is your favorite children’s book?
Oh, I adored this series when I was 9 or 10ish. My two friends and I buddy read them and we all gushed about it together. It was fantastic.
Double shot of espresso: Name a book that kept you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.
Ahhh, I loved this book so much. There really isn’t a moment to rest, but it doesn’t get tiring. It’s just so spectacular.
Starbucks: Name a book you see everywhere.
This book has so much hype and it is so deserving and it is so good.
That hipster coffee shop: Give a book by an indie author a shoutout
I actually don’t read a lot of books by indie authors, so I’m going to I’ll shoutout an indie bookstore instead.
Mysterious Galaxy (https://www.mystgalaxy.com/) is a FANTASTIC indie bookstore. The custmore service is A+++ and everybody seems so nice!
Oops! I accidentally got decaf: Name a book you were expecting more from.
I adored Uprooted so much, so I thought that Spinning Silver was also going to be a big hit for me. But, to me, it just seemed a bit slow. I guess I went in with too many expectations on what I thought it was going to be.
The perfect blend: Name a book or series that was both bitter and sweet but ultimately satisfying.
This one was definitely bittersweet for me, but when I finished I was satisfied.
