Welcome to another week of #RockyRecommends! Today is the fourth installment; we’ve been at this a whole month! Today Rocky is recommending Song of the Current by Sarah Tolcser.
Rocky very much enjoyed this book. He said he likes to lay on it and look dramatically into the distance to pretend he is on Caro’s wherry. He would very much like to receive pets from Caro and Fee and would love to have the pleasure of peeing on Markos’s boots. He says it is very comfortable to lay on. The sparkles give it an extra pop. To him, that makes it the perfect bed. He said the story inside was wonderful, even if there was no extra sparkle. It stood on its own and he respects that, but he requests more sparkles on the inside for book 2, please and thank you. All in all, he says this book receives 5 out of 5 purrs.
As for me, I actually already have review of this one up, so I’ll keep this short. I really enjoyed this one. I adored the river setting. It felt so magical to me. Although the story ultimately ended up in the ocean, and I think that is where book 2 will be, it didn’t turn me off at all and I am still very much looking forward to reading The Whisper of the Tide. 4 out 5 stars for me!
